Tinksky Chinese Hair Comb Cheongsam Hair Accessory, Very depicts and pretty

first_imgThis really quite hair combe is quite eye catching. Regrettably mine arrived with a piece damaged off so remaining returned. The design and decrotive function on this merchandise is gorgeous and would look wonderful in my hair. I received this product at a lessened cost for giving a honest evaluate.Excellent cost and good good quality, importantly this item came on time – in a week. If only this vendor sold much more things, i would obtain extra like this from them.I set this in my daughters hair when we went out for a food and it appeared extremely rather in her hair. Bought this for my 6year aged daughter. I set this in my daughters hair when we went out for a food and it looked extremely really in her hair. It went in her hair really effortlessly. The issue was when i took it out as it received a small little bit taffled in her hair, it did not result in any soreness untangling it but i consider my daughters hair was far too prolonged ( it goes all the way down her again). I imagine this would be improved for shorter to mid duration hair. My daughter cherished getting it in her hair and she wants to don it again. I bought this product at a lessened price and it arrived well packaged and just before the anticipated delivery day.Key specs for Tinksky Chinese Hair Comb Cheongsam Hair Accessory (Red):Color: mainly red. Material: hard alloy.Features beautiful flower and tassel design, very delicate and charming.Fantastic hair accessories for weddings, proms, parties or other special occasions. The hair comb is easy to get in the hair and will assure a snug fit on various hair styles.Comments from buyers“Fine filigree workmanship., The detailing on the metal is rather good making the leaves and flower petals stand out very , I put this in my daughters hair when we went out for a meal and it looked very pretty in her hair, I really like this hair comb, Very depicts and pretty, Lovely design detail”This seems to be excellent in my daughters hair many thanks i got this cost-free.This is a quite delicate hair comb with tons of pretty intricate depth. It is a relatively brassy colour somewhat than gold. The comb to attach it to the hair is fairly small and instead fiddly to implement. It is quite ornamental and unconventional. I acquired it for myself but l will give it to my daughter as l truly feel it would improved fit a more youthful human being. I been given this item at a minimized price tag in exchange for an trustworthy evaluate which l have furnished. The detailing on the steel is alternatively great building the leaves and flower petals stand out extremely. This chinese hair comb has arrived in a fair amount of money of time it was perfectly packaged, it comes in plastic luggage one particular on the dangling chains to stop tangling and braking and one particular with the hair comb and chain bag in. The hair comb is an orange gold colored metal as are the chains with purple plastic beads glued on it. The comb component is positioned at the centre of the rear even so it is not a very big piece of comb but it is also steel and it does not give considerably overall flexibility when striving to apply it in location which helps make it a little bit awkward to use. The detailing on the metallic is relatively great building the leaves and flower petals stand out extremely effectively and the truth that it is layered does make it stand out and search exclusive. I did get this hair comb at a discounted price in trade for my sincere and impartial opinion and i feel that it is all right, but the comb element could be far better.Wonderful filigree workmanship. . The 1st point that catches your eye is the magnificence and exquisite craftsmanship that has went into producing the chinese hair comb. It is produced up of an alloy of metals and is adorned with red gems and is very eyecatchingly. It is adorned with attractive jewelled flowers and tasseled droplets with crimson at their finish. The steel is pretty great and extremely flexible which i experience is very good in 1 way because it usually means you can get the comb into your finest situation but i also be concerned it might snap if you are as well sturdy with your manipulation. In stating all that it is extremely intricately made and seems to be breathtaking. I have kindly gained this products at a discounted price in trade for my unbiased, honest and my evaluations are always truthful because i count on assessments when i am building a purchase on the web. I have provided considerably less than 5 stars on the situations that warranted it even with goods i received at a price cut so be sure to be assured my critiques are 100% truthful and i really don’t give great assessments only simply because i been given it at a price cut. I give very good reviews if the merchandise warrants it. If my assessment has not lined the products you desire to know about you also have the choice of inquiring a issue from the neighborhood which i uncover really useful.I really like this hair comb. I seriously like this hair comb. It has stunning intricate gold detail of leaves and flowers with red beads in the centre of each and every flower. There are seven chains dangling from the comb with a bead on the close of each chain. Each of the beads dangling from the beads has a wonderful gold element on the conclusion. The detailing is exquisite and the comb seems to be beautiful at the time positioned in the hair. I can not see any negatives, whilst it is a really delicate product. Be sure to note that i was given this merchandise at a decreased price in order to have out the overview. The overview is absolutely unbiased and unbiased. Was pretty cheap looking and bent quickly.Nicely i really like to wait for chinese new year to get a common chinese glimpse.Very pretty but comb is rather useless. But it did the career with a pair of hair clipsupdate: unprompted, the vendor contacted me at a later day with an supply of a £3 refund.Stunning hair clip great for any situation nicly built. This comb is so much superior than it appears to be like in the image. It has a 5 pronged comb on the again which can be bent slightly to attach it to your hair. It has 7 chains at numerous various lengths darling down from it this is a fragile comb so i would not send a tiny female into college with it. I wore mine with my hair in a bun and that on top rated of it my daughter scraped all hair to a person facet and attached it there no matter what way you wear it it will search greati was despatched this item for free or at a discounted cost in trade for a sincere overview.last_img read more

Inter-faith couple face saffron fury

first_imgSangh Parivar activists, including those of the BJP, the Vishwa Hindu Parishad, the Bajrang Dal and the ABVP, tried to assault an inter-religious couple in Hapur on Saturday. They arrived outside the house in Devlok Colony where Vidya Shrivastava and Shoaib Alam lived and created a ruckus, while accusing Alam of manipulating Vidya into marriage. The mob started raising slogans. Vidya and Alam, both residents of Sitamarhi in Bihar, fell in love but their families opposed their relationship. They got married in court early this year and were living in Hapur where Alam has been running a computer training institute. The couple called the police to rescue them from the “harassment” of the Hindutva workers. When the police tried to take the couple out of the house, the Hindutva activists grappled with them trying to snatch Alam from their custody. The police resorted to a lathi charge.Deputy Superintendent of Police Pawan Kumar Baliyan told The Hindu: “While Vidya’s relatives alleged that Alam had lured her and manipulated her into marriage, she told the police that they had married in court and she was living with Alam willingly.” “Vidya’s relatives did not even file a report that she was missing or had been kidnapped,” Mr. Baliyan said. Vijay Pal, MLA, told the media that the girl’s parents reached Hapur and contacted VHP workers, after which they had gone to “rescue” the girl. He alleged that many Hindutva workers were injured in the lathicharge, which SP Hemant Kutiyal denied.last_img read more

Incredible highs from Indian sport

first_imgIt would not be an exaggeration to state that 2010 was a brilliant year for Indian sport, in which athletes from a broad spectrum rose to the top and crowned themselves with glory at the Asian and world level. As has become a habit, sections of the electronic media go through the gimmick of picking a “sportsperson of the year”. A select number make it to the list and eventually one person is chosen ahead of the pack. The point is, in a year where Indians did so well and tore the form book to shreds in so many disciplines, it is the collective joy which athletes brought that should make us all feel proud.Today, when people have become so disillusioned with life in India, it is sport which makes us forget the pain. When one watched Sachin Tendulkar carve out his magical 50th Test century in South Africa, one forgot about having to pay through one’s nose for petrol or onions or how corruption was an integral part of the Indian system. And if you choose to think about His Majesty’s ODI double hundred in Gwalior, you know you were watching a genius at the crease. In the end, he left you in a trance.I honestly feel at the end of the year, it is not worth talking about what Lalit Modi did in the Indian Premier League and how the BCCI reacted in a knee- jerk fashion.Yes, Modi is history and the BCCI is rightly being pulled up by courts for taking all kinds of arbitrary decisions.advertisementAt the same time, just as people kept saying the Commonwealth Games ( CWG) would never happen, India showed that it was possible to do things at the last minute. Everyone associated with the task of hosting the Games managed to pull it off, though from ticketing woes to poor food packages for volunteers and excessive policing, there was a bad taste that lingered.Yet, what people will really remember the CWG for is India’s rich medal haul and how several new stars were born. Be it the efforts of gymnast Ashish Kumar or the golden girls from track and field, India shone as hosts. It is their efforts which made the CWG a success, with shooter Gagan Narang defining consistency with a four- gold haul. The loss really was for all those athletes who did not come to India thinking the stadia would collapse or snakes would be slithering in their beds at the Games Village near the Yamuna bank. From the CWG to the Asian Games, it seemed India would not be able to reproduce the same form. However, despite pessimistic predictions from the naysayers, it was again a case of India shining, though the shooters, wrestlers and weightlifters flopped. Ronjan Sodhi was the golden exception. The way Ashish, Bajrang Lal Takhar, Virdhawal Khade, Ashwini Akkunji, Preeja Sreedharan, Joseph Abraham, Pankaj Advani, Vijender Kumar and Somdev Devvarman led the assault on medals, you knew Indian sport had come of age.Comparisons were made with China, as to how they win so many medals in virtually every discipline. But I think the Indian sportspersons are rising to the challenge and comparisons with China are ridiculous. With tight doping controls now in place at the mega events, it was great that no Indian flunked a dope test in Guangzhou. What one needs to do in 2011 is build on the momentum. Do not starve the athletes of good competition, equipment and foreign coaches. Without all this, expecting results at the London Olympics in 2012 will be foolhardy. And now, we come to a category of sportspersons who I would not wish to address as winners but champions. There is a difference between a winner and a champion – and the latter category is the one where Viswanathan Anand, Sushil Kumar, MC Mary Kom and Tejaswini Sawant belong. To produce four world champions in one year is something Indian sport was never known for.It is a tribute to the perseverance and work ethic of these individuals that they could crown themselves with glory in a year where our sport shone.Just to jog the reader’s memory, when Anand was to go to Sofia, Bulgaria, to defend his world title, he was in huge trouble. Fly ash was a big menace and flights were being cancelled across Europe.Anand eventually had to take a 40- hour road journey from Frankfurt to Sofia. And after that, he was still alert enough to beat Topalov for the world championship title.advertisementComing to Sushil, people thought his bronze medal effort at the Beijing Olympics was nothing great. But when he won the world title in Russia in September, it was indeed a big day for Indian sport. No Indian wrestler had ever won anything as big as this and the smiling man again won gold in New Delhi at the CWG. Two women also made it special as Mary Kom won the world boxing championship for a record fifth time, this time in a different category to her previous four. Everyone knows what she has done for women’s boxing in India, but it is her hunger for more and more success which is hard to understand. And last but not the least, Tejaswini Sawant winning the 50- metre rifle prone event at the world championship in Germany was not expected. This win should put Tejaswini in the right frame of mind to train for the London Olympics. To leave Saina Nehwal’s four big titles out would be wrong, and the World No. 2 badminton player doesn’t look like stopping anytime soon.People will talk of bad things as well in Indian sport in 2010 – with specific reference to corrupt officials and politicians. Let’s just forget about them.If you have woken up with a bad hangover after the Christmas parties, just think of Indian sport in 2010. It will make you feel good again.last_img read more

Ind vs Eng: ICC praises Team India for Bell recall

first_imgHaroon Lorgat, the ICC Chief Executive, on Sunday praised Team India, the England team and the match officials at Trent Bridge, Nottingham, for the way they upheld the spirit of the game with regards to the ‘Ian Bell’ incident. At the end of the afternoon session England batsman Ian Bell was given run out after leaving his crease in the belief that tea had been called by on-field umpires Asad Rauf and Marais Erasmus. On appeal, after consultation with television umpire Billy Bowden, Bell was given run out, which was the technically correct decision under the letter of the law of the game. But India skipper MS Dhoni later decided to call Bell back.”Absolute credit must go to Team India, the England team and the match officials – Ranjan Madugalle, Asad Rauf and Marais Erasmus as well as the off-field umpires Billy Bowden and Tim Robinson – for the superb way that they all handled a tricky situation,” said Lorgat in press release. “While the initial appeal and umpire decision may have been acceptable to the letter of the law, the decision by India captain M S Dhoni and his team – as well as the Team India coaching staff – to withdraw the appeal shows great maturity. To see players and officials uphold the great spirit of cricket, which has underpinned the game for more than a century, is very special.  “I am indeed grateful for the way that the teams and match officials handled what was clearly a difficult situation and their behaviour reflects well on everyone,” he added.advertisementlast_img read more

SDSU astronomers discover third planet in twostar solar system

first_img Posted: April 16, 2019 KUSI Newsroom, April 16, 2019 SDSU astronomers discover third planet in two-star solar system SAN DIEGO (CNS) – A group of researchers led by astronomers at San Diego State University Tuesday announced the discovery of a third planet in the Kepler-47 solar system, making it the only known system with multiple planets that orbit two stars. The researchers spotted the Neptune-to-Saturn-sized planet between the system’s two previously observed planets while monitoring data from NASA’s Kepler telescope. SDSU astronomers believe the planet has gone largely unnoticed until now because it may have passed in front of one of the system’s two stars, weakening its transmission signal. The planet has been dubbed Kepler-47d.“We saw a hint of a third planet back in 2012, but with only one transit we needed more data to be sure,” said SDSU astronomer Jerome Orosz, the lead author of the study published in the Astronomical Journal. “With an additional transit, the planet’s orbital period could be determined, and we were then able to uncover more transits that were hidden in the noise in the earlier data.”In addition to confirming the planet’s existence, the research team discovered that it is the largest body on record in the Kepler-47 system. All three planets also have a lower density than Saturn, our solar system’s least dense planet. Kepler 47 is roughly 3340 light-years from Earth toward the northern constellation Cygnus. The system itself is fairly compact and could fit within Earth’s orbit around our sun. One of the system’s stars is roughly similar in size to the one in our solar system while the other is roughly one-third that size. All three planets are at least three times larger than Earth, with Kepler-47d registering at seven times larger.“This work builds on one of the Kepler’s most interesting discoveries: that systems of closely-packed, low-density planets are extremely common in our galaxy,” said Jonathan Fortney, a UC Santa Cruz astronomer who was not involved in the study. “Kepler-47 shows that whatever process forms these planets — an outcome that did not happen in our solar system — is common to single-star and circumbinary planetary systems.” KUSI Newsroom Categories: Local San Diego News FacebookTwitterlast_img read more

Missy Elliott Is Ready To Get The World Dancing Again

first_img Twitter The hip-hop legend recently shared she is working on a new album dropping next year, 14 years after her last LP, ‘The Cookbook.’ What can we expect?Ana YglesiasGRAMMYs Oct 9, 2018 – 5:34 pm The GRAMMY-winning superstar Missy Elliott has been an influential powerhouse for years, making a name for herself starting with her successful debut album Supa Dupa Fly in 1997, featuring her classic jam “Sock It 2 Me.” Since then she released five more studio albums and countless hit singles and collabs, although her last LP was 2005’s The Cookbook. She has released some juicy, one-off singles and has been on some hot features over the past 13 years, but the world is ready for more Missy. Luckily, she is ready to give the world what it wants, teasing a 2019 LP in a recent social media post. What can we expect? Missy Elliott Is Ready To Get The World Dancing Again Facebook The rap pioneer recently took to Twitter to announce that she’s ready to “get y’all a**es dancing again,” hinting she’ll have new music for us in 2019. The tweet featured a clip of a new unreleased track of hers called “Cool Off,” which sounds like it will be a dancefloor-ready banger. Five days before that post, in another tweet, she touched on why it’s been so long since she’s put out an album. “For so long I was hesitant to put out music in fear no one would get it because people said music has changed & my sound been so different,” she shares. “But now I’m like hey, bump it make music that feels good to me, let me get y’all a**es dancing again.”We are ready, Missy. Ready for whatever new jams you have been cooking up. She raps on the sneak peek of “Cool Off, “Missy in this b***h/doing s**t you ain’t ever seen.” I think we’re ready to see it, but for now we will have to hope for whatever magic the hip-hop queen has been preparing for us.We hope her and longtime friend and collaborator Timbaland have been spending at least some time in the studio together so that he can add his magic, futuristic touch through producing at least a few songs on her upcoming album. The list of Elliott’s Timbaland-produced classics is nearly endless, including “Sock It 2 Me” and “The Rain (Supa Dupa Fly)” from her debut Supa Dupa Fly, “One Minute Man” and “Get Ur Freak On” from Miss E…So Addictive and “Work It” and “Gossip Folks” from Under Construction. It is hard to deny how amazing and dynamic the music they put out together is, with his forward thinking production bringing her sound to the next level every time.Timbaland was the lead producer on all of her studio albums other than her sixth, which he played a smaller role on, and they were working on her seventh album set to release in 2008, along with Pharrell and others on production, until, after delays, the album was never released. Pharrell and Elliott eventually released two singles in 2012 “9th Inning” and “Triple Threat,” both of which featured classic slow-jam/future-sound Timbaland beats along with his vocals. Two years later, in 2015, Elliott teamed up with Pharrell to release the viral hit “WTF (Where They From),” a booty-bouncing, highly danceable track featuring the producer’s catchy, joyful beats, as well as some verses from him as well. We can only hope and pray Elliott’s latest studio sessions have and will include both GRAMMY-winning mastermind producers to keep lifting her amazing flow and bold presence to the next level with joyous, future-ready beats.Elliott has always confidently pushed the envelope and set the tone for what it means to be a female hip-hop artist in the male-dominated industry. There is no doubt that she will keep bringing her unique brand of sexy, empowered, independent female to the table in her new music. This year she has already given us a taste of that on the remix of Ciara’s girl power track “Level Up.” The two celebrate their greatness as women, recognizing they won’t settle for less than they deserve, with Elliott confidently rapping, “Original, no klepto’/ Got a new flow, got a new glow./Level up, I’m beautiful/My a**, bounce like a yo-yo.”The remix of the GRAMMY-winning R&B star’s recent single reunites the pair, along with Fatman Scoop, the three of whom collabed on “Lose Control,” the biggest—and still classic dance-inducing jam—single from Elliott’s The Cookbook. Elliott is also featured on “borderline,” a bouncy, shiny Pharrell-produced song on Ariana Grande’s Sweetener, released this August. We can only hope these recent features point to some heavy doses of female-empowerment, along with some unexpected yet heavy-hitting, female-dominated collabs on Elliott’s 2019 album. The cherry on top that would tie it all together would have to be provided by Timbaland and Pharrell’s powerhouse production skills. We will wait patiently and practice our dance moves until then.Madonna Is Working Hard On New Album: “These Dark Circles Are For All My Fans”Read more News Email Missy Elliott Will Get The World Dancing in 2019 missy-elliott-ready-get-world-dancing-againlast_img read more

STATE REP RACE QA Erika Johnson Discusses Education Issues Negative Campaigning

first_imgWILMINGTON, MA — Wilmington Apple is asking weekly questions to the seven candidates running in contested primaries for the Wilmington/Tewksbury State Representative seat (19th Middlesex).Below, in her own words, are the responses to this week’s questions from candidate Erika Johnson (D-Wilmington).#13) The Massachusetts education funding formula hasn’t been updated in 25 years. This Chapter 70 formula fails to provide the funding needed for school districts to fund core expenses. The Massachusetts Budget and Policy Center published a report last week (“Building An Education System That Works For Everyone: Funding Reforms To Help All Our Children Thrive“) detailing the problem. The Wilmington & Tewksbury School Committees have long advocated for the State House to update the Chapter 70 formula. Do you commit to fighting for an updated formula? What else will you do as State Representative to help our public schools?Education is the key to the future, therefore, our public schools deserve to be well-funded if not, fully funded. The current formula, Chapter 70 is outdated and absolutely needs to be updated. The formula, as it stands, is stacked against students in low-income communities.I have heard from several teachers along the campaign trail who tell stories of how much they’ve spent out of pocket to be able to provide their students the best education possible, it’s eye-opening. Our teachers need better support and the resources needed to provide a world-class education for all students.I was a strong proponent of the Millionaires tax, a ballot initiative that was recently struck down by the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court on a legal technicality (not the substance of the bill). This tax would have increased taxes for those receiving an annual income of over $1 million and all revenue would fund public education and public transportation. Over the weekend, I had the opportunity to hear Democratic Gubernatorial candidate, Jay Gonzalez speak at an event hosted by the Burlington Democratic Town Committee at which Gonzalez expressed that he would support a bill along the lines of the Millionaires tax that taxed the richest in Massachusetts to fully fund our public schools and public transportation, a measure I would be happy to champion if elected. There is currently a bill “S. 308: An Act Strengthening and Investing in our Educators, Students and Communities” that would update the Chapter 70 funding formula, mandates a moratorium on and replacement of the state’s high-stakes testing regime, promotes community collaboration in improving schools, and provides services critical to student academic and social-emotional development, such as recess for grade-schoolers and appropriate bilingual education services for non-native speakers (Summary provided by the Massachusetts Teachers Association). I fully support this bill as I believe it will vastly improve our public education system in Massachusetts for all students and urge our Legislature to act on this bill.I am also supportive of keeping the cap on charter schools, as I proudly voted “No” on Question 2, one of the ballot initiatives in 2016. Charter schools take taxpayer dollars yet are run by nonprofit or for-profit organizations and are exempt from regulations put forth by state and local boards of education in curriculum and hiring practices. Raising the cap or funding for charter schools takes away money and resources for our public school children with no accountability.Every child living in Massachusetts has the right to a quality public education that prepares them for current and future job markets. With that said, we must be sure that with any update to education funding, we are advocating for every child – regardless of their zip code, household income, if they are English Language Learners (ELL), if they require special education or Individualized Education Program (IEP), etc.#14) Define “negative campaigning.” Do you pledge not to engage in any negative campaigning during this election? Why or why not? When responding to an attack, will you follow the “when they go low, we go high” Michelle Obama mantra or the “when someone attacks me, I always attack back… except 100x more” Donald Trump mantra?I do not plan to engage in negative campaigning during this election. With so much on the line for our district, it is important to stay focused on the issues not personal attacks.I will be taking Michelle Obama’s approach, “When they go low, we go high”.(NOTE: Do you have a question for the candidates? Email and it may be asked in a future Q&A or in a debate.)Like Wilmington Apple on Facebook. Follow Wilmington Apple on Twitter. Follow Wilmington Apple on Instagram.
