Call of Duty: Black Ops set another sales record, pulling in a staggering $650 million in its first five days. That number beats the old record held by its predecessor, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 by $100 million. Black Ops also holds the record for the first 24 hours in North America, pulling in $360 million in that timeframe–beating out Modern Warfare 2 by $50 million. The game also holds all manner of other records–according to publisher Activision, it is Amazon’s best-selling game launch. More than 5.9 million multiplayer hours were logged on Xbox Live in the game’s first 24 hours.
