first_imgThe first ever Wild Atlantic Way Cycle Sportif is set to come to an exciting end today in Donegal.The 17-stage adventure cycle covered 2,058km of the Wild Atlantic Way, which saw four scenic and challenging stages in Donegal this week.The Wild Atlantic Way Cycle Sportif is a leisure event designed to promote all things cycling along the western coastal route. Cyclists chose to take on multiple stages or join in for single stages over the two week event. Cyclists will soon be hopping off their saddles today after reaching their ultimate destination of Muff in Co. Donegal.They left Letterkenny at 9.30am for a 135km cycle via Malin Head, Moville and Quigley’s Point. There will be panoramic views, challenging climbs and stunning scenery to soak up before the finish line.From Muff, the cyclists are returning to lively Letterkenny to celebrate the end of the event.
