After launching the V11 and V11i in Thailand and V11 Pro in India, Vivo has now launched the long-time rumoured X23 in China. The Vivo X23 looks similar to the Vivo V11 Pro. The smartphone comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor, dual cameras on the back, waterdrop notch, Super AMOLED display, among others. Vivo has launched the X23 with a price tag of CNY 3500, which roughly translates to Rs 36,800. As of now, there’s no word if the Vivo X23 will hit the Indian stored or not.The Vivo X23 comes in only one variant. It comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The smartphone has been launched in three colour variants — Phantom Purple, Phantom Red or Blue. Meanwhile, Vivo has announced that the company will soon bring Fashion Purple and Fashion Orange special Logo Phone editions of the X23.As for the specs are concerned, the Vivo X23 is more or less similar to the Vivo V11 Pro. The camera, RAM and storage departments, however, vary. The smartphone sports a 6.41-inch Super AMOLED display with 1080x2340pixels resolution and 19:9 aspect ratio. Just as the V11 Pro, the X23 also comes with IR Face unlock support, which will possibly let users unlock the phone in dark as well. The smartphone also comes with in-display fingerprint sensor. This is the fourth Vivo phone in a row to come with in-display fingerprint sensor, first was the Vivo X21, followed by Vivo NEX, and Vivo V11 Pro.The X23 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 processor with 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. There’s no word if the storage space can be expandable via microSD card or not. The Vivo X23 comes with something called the Dual Turbo Acceleration Engine – which Vivo claims improve the overall performance of the phone and make the phone fast. On the rear panel, the Vivo X23 comes with a primary sensor of 12-megapixel with f/1.8 aperture and secondary sensor of 13-megapixel with a f/2.4 aperture for wide shots. On the front, the smartphone comes with a 12-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture. Vivo phones have always been camera-centric, and the X23 is no different. The smartphone comes paired with several camera modes like — AI Beauty, AI Portrait, among other. The features are almost the same as what the V11 Pro comes with.Vivo X23 will start shipping in China on September 14. Vivo, as of now, hasn’t revealed if the phone will come with other markets outside China.
